The journey for our founder, Bill, began in 1984 on Flatlands Avenue in Brooklyn. Then in 1992, Bill opened a store in Middle Village, Queens, but he never lost sight of where he truly called home: Staten Island. As a native Staten Islander, Bill always dreamed of giving back to the community where he grew up. His connection to the neighborhood ran deep, and that vision would eventually become the foundation for something much bigger — a business built on community, family, and a genuine commitment to serving the people of Staten Island.
